Orvix Real Estate ("Orvix", "we", "us") runs the website orvixrealestate.com and helps people buy, sell and rent property in Bangladesh. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how you can ask us to delete it.
1. Information we collect
- Account details: your name, mobile number, email address, password (stored encrypted) and the type of customer you are (buyer, tenant or property owner).
- Property listings: details and photos of properties you submit, and the owner verification documents you upload.
- Inquiries and visit requests: the name, phone number, email and message you send through our forms.
- Property requirements: what you are looking for (area, budget, size and similar), so we can suggest matching properties.
- Messages through Facebook Messenger and Instagram: when you message our Facebook Page or Instagram account (@orvix.realestate), we receive your message, the time it was sent, any attachments, and the ID that Facebook or Instagram gives your account for our Page. We use these only to reply to you and to keep a record of the conversation. An automated assistant may reply to your messages, and you can ask for a person at any time.
- Technical data: a session cookie that keeps you logged in, and basic server logs (such as IP address and time of a visit) that keep the website secure.
We do not collect payment card details on this website.
2. How we use your information
- To show property listings and to contact you about properties you asked about.
- To reply to your messages and inquiries, and to arrange property visits.
- To verify property owners and review listings before they are published.
- To suggest properties that match your saved requirements.
- To keep records of property deals and commissions as the law requires.
- To keep the website secure and working.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your Facebook or Instagram messages for advertising.
3. Who we share information with
- Our staff, only as far as their work needs it.
- The other side of a property deal (for example, the owner of a property you want to rent), only with your agreement.
- Service providers that run our systems: Hostinger (website hosting and email) and Meta Platforms (Facebook Messenger and Instagram, when you message us there).
- Cloudflare (Workers AI), only when our automated assistant answers a question you type on Messenger or Instagram. The text of that question is sent to Cloudflare to write the reply, and may be processed outside Bangladesh. Under Cloudflare's current terms, it is not used to train AI models and is not kept after it is no longer needed to produce the reply. We do not send your name, phone number, email or account details with it, so please do not type personal details in your questions.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
4. How long we keep information
- Account, listing, requirement and inquiry information: while your account is active, and up to 2 years after your last activity.
- Facebook and Instagram conversations: up to 2 years after the last message, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Deal and accounting records: as long as Bangladeshi law requires.
5. Your choices and rights
You can view and update your details in My Account → Profile & Security. You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
6. How to delete your data (data deletion instructions)
- Website account: log in, open My Account → Profile & Security, and use Delete Account. This deletes your account; we keep only the records the law requires us to keep.
- Facebook Messenger or Instagram conversations, or any other data: email info@orvixrealestate.com with the subject "Data deletion request". Tell us your name and the Facebook or Instagram name you messaged us from. We will delete the data within 30 days and confirm by email.
- You can also remove Orvix's access at any time in your Facebook or Instagram settings, under Apps and websites.
7. Security
Passwords and connection tokens are stored encrypted, the website uses HTTPS, and only authorised staff can see customer information.
8. Children
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the effective date above.
